An easement is an interest held by one party in real property owned by another party. Conservation Easements are also acquired by the District in connection with the issuance of Regulatory Permits. </li><li>Access Easements provide access to District lands across lands of others. </li><li>Right of Way Easements enable the District to construct, operate and maintain canals for flood control purposes. </li><li>Construction Easements enable the District to implement the construction of projects. These are usually temporary. </li><li>Flowage Easements enable the District to raise water levels on land, for example in connection with projects like the Kissimmee Restoration Project.</li></ul></div>
